Another Saturday night and I ain't got nobody.....A very old song by from the 60's by Sam Cook. It was different then and until recently if you had nobody, your choices were limited to the girl next door, someone you met shopping at the market, someone you bought a drink for in a bar or the blind date that Aunt Mimi arranged for you. Ah, the blind date! Has it really changed?
People still meet their "matches" in all of those places, but the new blind date is really not blind. It might just be a glaucoma or cataract date, because you see a fuzzy outline that looks pretty good until you put on your glasses or have surgery!
Interenet dating seems to be the next best thing to blind dating because you never know who is going to show up or what they are going to be like. The comments and emails I have received have proven that! I'm hearing people mostly lie about the way they look (weight and height) supported by pics that are 15 years old! I've gotten some real "horror" stories complete with ghosts on a date (no I'm not kidding, I said real horror stories) all the way to total bliss with marriage, kids and a white picket fence.
Either way I want to hear what YOU have to say. I'm pulling together research from real people with real dating experiences and putting it in an article, so please share. Leave it here on my blog or send me an email. Thanks for participating and I hope that this Saturday night you have some money and a date.
Internet dating seems to be a potentially reckless and frightening experience. I am writing an article (maybe book) developed from personal experiences of real people. If you have a "story" and most people do, please share it here. Please do not use real names,as this will be used for other projects. Thanks for sharing and happy dating.

Is it a Match or a Torch?
Hey everyone! I have a few friends (some closer than I would have been comfortable with) who have some nightmare stories about internet dating. Please leave your story here annonymously. I'm collecting these for an upcoming article, so by leaving your story here, you will be giving me permission to use your "story" and to publish it. I have been published as a ghost writer and this will be my first time under my name, so please help me. Leave me your story, your opinion...why you did it...why you won't do it again. All stories are welcome.
Was it a match made in cyberspace, or a relationship that was torched and went up in flames?

Thanks for your candid introspect and happy dating!
